Summary:
Working under the direction of the Superintendent of Parks and Recreation, Park Patrol is responsible for monitoring Proesel Park and 12 satellite parks to maintain a safe and enjoyable park experience for all users.
Work includes some maintenance and cleaning, rule enforcement, documenting incidents, and educating park visitors on park rules.
Park Patrol will be subject to evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Monitors Proesel Park and 12 satellite parks, identify potential issues, and enforce all park rules Monitor tent and shelter rentals and ensure proper permits have been issued Monitor fields and courts for proper usage Address and resolve conflicts between user groups Open and close park restrooms and shelter Complete daily park reports Complete weekly playground inspection report Complete park incident reports and submit to Parks and Recreation office Provide set up, break down, and support as needed for all Parks and Recreation events Submit requests for work orders as necessary Daily check-in and check-out with Lincolnwood Police Department Drag and line softball and baseball fields for weekend games/practices Serve as on-site softball league supervisor Rake kickouts under swings and surface under playground equipment at park playgrounds Collect trash and empty trash cans in park Perform visual check of parks and playgrounds for maintenance needs Restock park restrooms with toilet paper and hand towels Immediately report any vandalism to Lincolnwood Police Department and the Superintendent of Parks and Recreation Assist Public Works with cleaning Proesel Park restrooms when necessary Complies with all Village Policies, Protocols, and Procedures Provide assistance, information, and direction to the general public Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficient with email communication.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
