New Britain 6 Spindle Screw Machine Operator:
Position Responsibilities Ability to adjust/change tools, drills, taps, cutting tool/inserts.
Ability to read blueprints Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometer, caliper, comparator, go no plug and threaded gages.
Follow all safety rules and procedures Perform other tasks as directed by trainer or supervisor Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Mechanical ability and interest.
Willing to work long and sometimes unusual hours on day/evening shifts.
Individual should have opportunity drive; looking for a possible career in manufacturing rather than just a job.
Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs Education and Experience High School diploma or the equivalent formal experience required.
