INVENTORY SUPERVISOR

Job Description Summary


 


This position is primarily responsible for compiling inventory management and analyze information and records to prepare purchase orders for procurement of material by performing the following duties.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties FOOD




  • Analyze inventory status

  • Maintain item master data

  • Reconcile inventory count/stock adjustment 

  • Reconcile international vendors open statement

  • Maintain and Creating Po’s

  • Maintain and Create production works

  • Communicate & Negotiate with vendors locally and overseas

  • Updates product information spreadsheet.

  • Responsible for sourcing and negotiating with vendor for the purchase of all materials, supplies, goods and service used by the company.

  • Establishes purchasing policies and ensure compliance.

  • Develops new supply where vendors are inadequate.

  • Establishes account/credit and terms.

  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

  • Perform cost and scenario analysis.

  • Works closely with warehouse on the production to ensure proper timing of deliveries.

  • Work closely with sales team on forecasting.

  • In charge of maintain inventory on SAP system.



Preparing reports such as:





    • Inventory audited

    • Down Payment

    • Purchasing summary

    • The quarterly inventory turnover

    • Slow movement skus

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:                                                



  • BA degree or equivalent from Four year college

  • Three-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • SAP program knowledge






MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:                                            


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.



REASONING ABILITY:                                                   


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.



COMPUTER SKILLS:


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Accounting Software (SAP); Internet Software; Manufacturing Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Contract Management System; Inventory Software; Order Processing Systems; Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook) and Presentation software (PowerPoint).





Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
